Traditionally, several photography exhibitions are shown during the Fair, offering an opportunity to admire the work of a well-known photographer or to discover new talents. In past editions Jane Evelyn Atwood, John and Claude Batho, Isabel Munoz, Olivier Culmann and Claudine Doury have been invited with the support of the Bièvres municipal authorities.
This year’s special guest photographer is Patrick Tourneboeuf, member and co-founder of Tendance Floue. He will be showing photographs from several series : « Nowhere », « Blow-up », « The Scar » and « Monumental » dealing with seaside resorts and the way we use our leisure time, the construction of memory, and historical buildings.
He has received various grants, residencies and awards, including the Changjiang International Photography Excellence Award (China) in 2015 and participated in the Transition Project entitled « The Social Landscape Project » at the invitation of the Photo Market School, Johannesburg (South Africa) and the Rencontres d’Arles in France.
His photographs have been purchased by several collections, foundations and institutes including the Carnavalet Museum in France and the Collection Regard in Berlin. He has published several books and was awarded the 2021 « A Photographer for Eurozeo » Prize for his « Blow-up » series.

Along with works by Patrick Tourneboeuf, the Mille Feuilles bookshop will hold an exhibition on 12 species of birds found in public parks in France, from the book entitled « Feather(s) » by Olivier Lasbley with Bertrand Perrier and Florence Gaudry.
The French Museum of Photography will also be holding two exhibitions and the Town of Bièvres will be displaying photographs in the street from the « Les Bièvrois aiment la photo » project showing photos by local residents.

Sunday June 5 from 10 a.m. to 5 :30 p.m.« Frontal view of strange objects from the Photography Museum » will be held in the museum garden (admission free), showing surprising « portraits » of photo equipment.
French Photography Museum
During the Fair the Museum invites the public to visit a 19th century itinerant photographer’s studio and workshop. It’s a unique opportunity to see how photographers worked in the 1860’s, and with what equipment. Reservation required.
